With regard to skin cancer, some signs that should go to a dermatologist is the appearance of red or scaly patches that are not removed. Other symptoms of skin cancer is that it can be bleeding. Subsequently, if indeed it is a tumor, it may grow abnormally.

Another manifestation is a discoloration on the skin that is usually prior to a mole or spot size larger more irregular skin tone.

For diagnosis with a dermatoscope which are, through a photograph, very specific details such as fingerprints bleeding, ulceration (at the level of the tumor or that stain) and specific changes color is used.

Some measures of prevention and treatment

Skin cancer can be prevented given that the number one cause is the sun. It occurs more often in white furs and the trend is hereditary or genetic type. Therefore, it is recommended to apply sunscreen every 3 hours, plus preventive physical measures such as wearing a hat, wearing clothing with long sleeves and specialized protection at the neckline.

Treatment depends on the stage of cancer to treat, for example, during the early stages, it is primarily surgical treatment. Already in advanced stages it will require chemotherapy or radiation therapy, in addition to surgical treatment.
