A couple of days ago, renowned pharmaceutical companies announced the production, cost and the countries that will benefit from their vaccine, however, the World Health Organization (WHO) rejected this action.

Mike Ryan, WHO Director of Health Emergencies, reported that despite multiple efforts to create a vaccine, none of them is advanced and safe enough to predict when it would begin to be produced and used. However, he comments that the necessary research will continue to be carried out so that at the end of this year and the beginning of the other one there will be a final sample and begin to apply it, likewise he commented that this will depend on the production capacity.

On the other hand, Soumya Swaminathan, a WHO scientist, commented that during the meeting with 1,300 scientists it was agreed to work on the treatment of COVID-19, since at the moment there are some alternatives, but not one that proves to be 100% effective against the virus.

As long as there is no preventive vaccine, it is better to stay home until the authorities mention otherwise and to use technology for activities such as buying food and medicine, as well as using Telemedicine.
