Zoonosis is an animal disease transmitted to humans by direct infection, ie by a body fluid such as urine or saliva, in addition to the presence of an intermediary such as mosquitoes or other insects. Another contamination pathways may be the intake of animal foods that do not meet health checks due as milk or meat or by eating unwashed raw fruits and vegetables. The cause of zoonosis may be due to parasites, viruses or bacteria that are outside or inside an animal disease resulting from a mild form, sometimes becoming almost imperceptible, even cause death. Both the diagnosis and treatment will depend on the contracted condition. It is always important to tell our doctor if you have received an animal bite. As prevention, we must maintain good personal hygiene after having had contact with an animal. Meat should be cooked until the juices are clarified and inside lose pinkish color.
